Kayla Adams is a Louisiana native, having spent most of her life in Mandeville. She is delighted to be back in the Mandeville area to serve her community.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University. During this time she helped LSU start their own chapter for a non-profit organization called Kesem. This organization provides year round support and a free summer camp to children whose parents have/had cancer. She then went on to complete her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Kayla is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of PAs. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.
Kayla’s journey prior to PA school started here at Soine Dermatology, as a medical assistant. Where she developed a deep appreciation for clinical practice and built meaningful connections with patients. After completing PA school, she is proud to have returned to Soine Dermatology in her new role as a Physician Assistant. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients feel confident and informed about their skin health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, either here on the Northshore or trying new food in the city.
