Charly Schmidt, FNP-C is a native of McComb, Mississippi. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Charly worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit for three years.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds national certification as a family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Charly joined McComb Skin Clinic in 2022 and has received advanced training in both medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures. Her medical dermatology training includes diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions and skin cancers, while her cosmetic training includes injectable fillers, neuromodulators, microneedling, chemical peels, and the use of cosmeceutical products and procedures available at McComb Skin & Aesthetics.

Charly married James Michael Schmidt in November 2021, and they welcomed their son Miller in July 2024. She is also a proud dog mom to her golden retriever fur babies. Charly is excited to continue her career with McComb Skin & Aesthetics, where her interests include both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Erik Soine and Dr. Heather Newlon serve as her collaborating physicians.
