We all want it: That healthy, radiant glow of healthy and younger looking skin that’s inarguably unmistakable. Healthy, younger looking skin is happy skin and is a reflection of a healthy mind and body – but in order to achieve this, most of us try dozens upon dozens of products that, sadly, don’t show results we may have expected. The main reason for this is that most of these products yield results that simply wane away after some time…in other words, there’s no long-term effect with such commercialized approaches.

1. Skin Rejuvenation 101: Hydrate Yourself

Of all the beauty tips for younger-looking skin, this is the most important. Because water makes up around 65-percent of our bodies, depriving yourself of it is a major negative thing to do for fabulous skin. Instead:

  • Drink eight to 10 glasses of water to keep your skin hydrated.
  • Carry a bottle wherever you go; do not deprive your skin of water.
  • Switch to tender coconut water; it is healthier than the aerated drinks that lead to toxins in the body, which also cause breakouts.

2. Eat a Balanced Diet

Consume healthy meals that include foods with omega fatty acids and antioxidants. Additionally, increase your intake of fresh fruits like oranges and watermelons; vegetables, interestingly, help to retain your skin’s glow.

3. Follow a Skin Care Routine

Commit to a skin care regiment that includes cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Cleansing gets rid of the skin’s accumulated “gunk,” toning handles the pore issues and moisturizing remains extremely important for the skin’s texture.

4. Consider Cosmetic Procedures

As we age, we inevitably note the development of brown spots, facial wrinkles and other negative elements that appear as fine surface lines and deep creases and folds. But there’s good news! There are a number of simple, non-surgical anti-aging treatments that help diminish these signs to help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated – quickly and easily. These include:

  • Injectables and Fillers – Injectables such as Dysport and Botox repel nerve impulses to the injected muscles, reducing activity of these muscles. To help correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles, fillers such as JUVEDERM, Restylane, Radiesse and Belatero Balance add temporary volume to the skin.
  • Chemical Peels – Using a chemical solution to smooth the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers, chemical peels can help improve acne or acne scars, age and liver spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, irregular skin pigmentation, rough skin and scaly patches, scars and sun-damaged skin.
  • Treatment of Varicose and Spider Veins (Sclerotherapy) – A proven medical procedure in use since the 1930s, sclerotherapy is used to effectively eliminate varicose veins and spider veins commonly found on the thighs and lower legs of women. The procedure typically involves an injection of a solution directly into the vein through a microneedle; over time, the blood vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view.

5. Never Forget Exfoliation

Be sure to engage in a regular exfoliation – along with your cleansing – routine; you can accomplish this at home by using yogurt, oatmeal and rosewater, and stick with natural skin care routines over store-bought “remedies.” Spare your skin of the harsh chemicals.

These simple tips will help you achieve healthy skin naturally, sometimes within a couple weeks’ time. Combined with cleansing your face the proper way, exfoliating regularly and moisturizing generously, all these factors will work together and keep your skin looking younger and more radiant.
